Jamie Gordon, LMHC

Jamie L. Gordon, LMHC is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of New York. Jamie received her Master’s Degree in General Psychology at Adelphi University, as well as an additional Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling at SUNY Old Westbury. Jamie has clinical experience through an array of settings including inpatient psychiatric units, outpatient clinics, and with school districts throughout Long Island, NY. Jamie grounds her work with a psychodynamic approach, while utilizing CBT interventions, DBT skills, mindfulness based techniques and solution focused techniques. She is a published author and co-author of peer reviewed articles with a primary focus on developing guidance for clinicians while working with understudied populations.
